Competition: UEFA Europa League
Fixture: Shamrock v Odd
Date: Thursday, July 16, 2015
Venue: Tallaght Stadium, Dublin

Shamrock Rovers will welcome Odd to the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin this week as the two sides clash in the second round of qualifiers in the UEFA Europa League.
Shamrock Rover’s form: W-L-W-D-W
Shamrock Rovers, who ply their trade in the Irish top flight, have a decent record coming into this game. Their only loss in the past five games in all competitions came against Bohemians in the league back on June 12.
They have won their fixtures against Derry, Galway and the second leg of the first round of qualifiers in the last few games. After finishing the first leg of the tie against Progres Niedercorn goalless, the side scored three in the second leg to make it to this round.
Odd’s form: D-W-L-D-L
Odd have won only one of their last five in all competitions but crucially that win came in the first leg of the first round of qualifiers against Sheriff Tiraspol as the side put three past the hosts. They drew the second leg 0-0 to qualify.
Their domestic form has suffered as a result of these qualifiers with a draw against Lillestrom SK and a couple of defeats against Valerenga and Rosenborg in recent fixtures.
Key Players and Team News
Shamrock Rovers: Kieran Walters is the top player at the club currently and he has been scoring some important goals for the side. Walters scored a brace in the 3-0 home win over Niedercorn in the second leg on July 7 and will be the danger man on Thursday.
Odd: Both their strikers, Frode Johnsen and Chukwuma Akabueze scored in the first leg win in the first round of qualification but the Nigerian is the chief trouble maker for the side. I expect the 26-year-old to have a major say in the outcome of this tie.
The visitors are the best placed to claim a victory in this upcoming game (2.1). They play in a better division and have better players in their ranks currently.
Shamrock Rovers are a long shot to win with best odds of 3.6 for that market. A better bet though would be to put your money on over 2.5 goals to be scored at 1.95 with bet365.
