A much better round in midweek with 4 wins from 10 and 2 at nice prices being the draw in the Everton v Hull match (4.33) and Villa (4.1) winning away at Palace. Villa are much improved and with Benteke back in the side and scoring, I think they’ll do the business at home to Leicester on Saturday and can be backed at a decent 2.45.
The overall profit for this season is a meager 3.35 though and I’m hoping the madness that is the Christmas period will throw some nice big wins our way.
Really can’t see Chelsea slipping up often this season and whilst 1.55 is not a great price, I think I’d be happy to back Chelsea every week as long as they were no shorter than 1.3 (relative to opposition) at the minute. Similar with City too but they’re not quite as tight defensively and have defeats and draws in them but should be ok at home to Everton whose style should suit,
United seem a decent price at 2.7 and catch Southampton at a good time as their form is on the decline with United, (dare I say it) seeming to be getting it together. Should be an interesting one but unlikely to eclipse the 6-3 Dell classic a la Egil Ostenstad hat-trick of yesteryear. Ahh those were the days….
