Premier League Value Bets Week 4

Our premier league value bets hit the jackpot last time out with Stoke winning at City. The profit was supplemented by a draw for Palace/Newcastle and a decent away win for Liverpool at Spurs.

Luck was on our side last week after being somewhat unfortunate with late goals in the previous couple of weeks but luck seems to find you eventually as long as you keep backing value prices.

These results, along with a few bonus selections has meant that we have a clear lead at the top of Cassini’s Friendly Tipster League. It’s early days of course and as we are pricing up every premier league match result scan change rapidly.

I am however confident of continuing to price up the prem well and will be aiming to go one better than last year’s second prize spot. The ROI is current at a whopping 32.74% as shown on the right hand side of the sheet.

All of this week’s selections are on aways or draws. It’s quite common for me to back aways as there does tend to be more value in them but it’s certainly not a case of backing every away. Last week there were one or two homes in the selections.

Ultimately I think that punters will be making judgments on teams far too early after 3 bad results. Burnley and Leicester for example have put in some good performances and created a lot of chances despite their poor points return (1 point for Burnley and 2 for Leicester). They’ve both had some tough fixtures so far too but still created chances and they may get more wins than people expect.

In fact, according to my prices this week Burnley along with Newcastle and Everton are the best value bets for this weekend. Incidentally, the market thinks I have the Liverpool match bang on and it’s very rarely that my prices match up exactly.
