British punters will no longer be allowed to place bets with Pinnacle Sports as of 30th September 2014. There had been rumours that this would happen following the changes to the British Gambling Regulations whereby a British Gambling License must now be obtained in order to take bets from British Customers.
Pinnacle’s silence on the matter had customers fearing the worst and today customers residing in Great Britain have received an email confirming their account closure.
It’s a sad day for the UK betting industry with Pinnacle Sports the only bookmaker to work with such low margins and offer very high limits. They don’t ban or restrict winners like many other bookies and many a punter’s returns have improved once they started betting with Pinnacle.
Any funds that customers currently hold in Pinnacle Sports accounts can still be withdrawn for free at any time as detailed in the official Pinnacle Sports Statement.
