Venue: Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo, Norway
Kick-off time: 17:00 BST
Norway will face Bulgaria in the Euro qualification Group H match. This will be the second round of games for the group in which Norway sit third with three points, while Bulgaria sit fourth also with three points.
Both teams will look to get close to the leaders, Croatia and Italy in a bid to qualify for Euro 2016.
Norway form: D-D-L-L-W
Norway won comfortably against the lowly Malta side, where a young Norwegian side was on display. The Norwegians were in complete control of the match and Malta could not get anywhere near Norway’s penalty area.
After the insipid display against Italy last month, Norway was better in finishing off the game early. However, Malta did not offer much resistance and their real credentials will be tested against the better sides in the group.
Bulgaria form: L-W-D-W-L
Bulgaria were unlucky to lose against Croatia, who were lucky to get the break with an own goal. After the goal, it was all Bulgaria as they constantly knocked Croatia’s doors. Bulgaria were let down by their wayward finishing and lost to Croatia. A few issues off pitch marred the match where the crowd became unruly.
Bulgaria’s attack is decent, but their strikers need to be more clinical in front of the goal. Bulgaria’s midfielders have played decently in the qualifiers and expect them to do the solid job again.
Norway: Joshua King
The ex-Manchester United youth forward is finding his feet in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers and against Malta; he might have finally delivered his best performance in the national jersey. A pacey forward, King should keep his place in the side on the right side of the attacking front three.
Bulgaria: Ivelin Popov
The attacking midfielder, currently deployed as a second striker in the current Bulgaria setup, has enjoyed the role and will look forward to adding more goals to his international kitty.
This match will be difficult to predict and by the current form of the teams, could end in a draw. Bet365 offer 2.15 for a Norway win and 3.5 for a drawn game. Over 2.5 goals at 2.2 with BetVictor makes for a tempting bet.
