It will be a critical weekend for Rosenborg in their quest for the Norwegian Tippeligaen crown. Placed at the top of the table, Molde will host the second-placed Rosenborg in what promises to be a thrilling encounter for the league crown.
Molde currently nine points ahead of Rosenborg, will look to extend the lead to 12 points, putting them a step closer to winning the championship, while The side from Rosenborg will try to cut the lead to six points and continue to compete for the title.
RBK suffered a home defeat in their previous encounter, in a game that ended 2-0.
They has been in terrific form this season, currently sitting on top of the league, while only suffering on defeat thus far in the league. Currently on a 20 lossless streak, they have shown great level of consistent football, and will definitely look to extend their streak.
Molde will have tough competition against RBK, they will look to continue their positive streak, while continuing the optimism of takeing a step closer to their objective this season, winning the League.
They will look to extend their two win streak, and hopefully propel themselves close the leaders of the league table. RBK managed to advance to third round of the Europa League Qualifier, with a 4-3 agg victory over Sligo. They will hope the momentum will be enough to defeat Molde in their upcoming fixture.
A win is a must for them, given how difficult it will become if they go down here. Even a draw will mean they will be in a bit of a catching up mode.
Molde: Mohamed Elyounouss
Recently signed from Sarpsborg 08 for this season, “Moi” has hit the ground running, with phenomenal games and currently Molde’s top scorer. This January he got the chance to get his first cap for Norway, the 19 year old certainly has a bright future.
Rosenborg: Mike Jensen
The Danish midfielder Jensen, has been ever present for the Rosenborg, providing great support for his team, while scoring a vital double last game, will ensure his confidence is up.
Molde start favourites to win the game with Betway offering 1.65 for their victory as opposed to 5.75 if Rosenborg can edge them out. I think the draw is a big price in this one though with 888Sport offering the top price at 4.2.
