Arsenal were rampant in their demolition of Everton in their 5-2 win at Goodison on Sunday and although Everton are a team struggling, Swansea aren’t much better. The Swans have lost 4 of their last 6 matches and you’d expect that be happy to take a point from this one.

Whether or not they can achieve this is another matter and Arsenal, who seem to have responded to criticism from the media (and Troy Deeney)  have won 10 out of their last 11 Premier League fixtures.

The Gunners scraped through to the next round of the Carabao cup but it was of course a much changed team and after being rested Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez should all be restored to the starting eleven.

Swansea on the other hand exited the competition courtesy of Manchester United but will perhaps feel relieved that they can fully focus on staying in the Premier League. Martin Olsson and Wilfred Bony are injury doubts and the Swans are definitely going to be without Renato Sanches and Kyle Bartley.

Arsenal had some 30 attempts on goal against Everton last week and looking at the football shot form they are just as dominant at home, averaging 15.33 shots in their last 6 matches and recorded 25 shots on goal in their last home match against Brighton.

Only Crystal palace have scored fewer goals than Swansea and they have at least being creating a decent amount of chances. That can’t be said for Swansea and you’d have to expect Arsenal to win by at least a couple of goals here. So to do the bookmakers however and the handicaps are not very appealing, with an Arsenal win by 3 only at even money on the asian handicap (stake refunded for a win by 2) . Judging by Swansea’s lack of striking prowess, the market Arsenal to win to nil looks better value.
