  • This Scottish League One match was suspended on Saturday afternoon due to a waterlogged pitch.
  • Since then the rain hasn't eased off any so whether the grounds staff can pull off a miracle this evening is debatable.
  • The decision on whether the game goes ahead tonight will be made at three o' clock on Tuesday evening.
  • Should the game go ahead it looks pretty certain that it will be played in horrendous conditions. There is no sign of the rain easing up in Coatbridge and the pitch will undoubtedly be very heavy.
  • Heavy pitches tend to have a drastic affect on football matches. An inability to pass the ball soundly and the ball getting stuck in muddy patches and surface water tends to lead to a lack of goals.
  • Rovers tend not to see many goals anyway with just one of their last six games seeing three or more goals. The Blue Brazil are from a different mould of course but even their last game was goalless.
  • The main consideration as far as I am concerned for tonight's match is the weather and it is dreich. For me that means a lack of goals and I am willing to take a punt on that.
  • Albion Rovers v Cowdenbeath Betting Preview Betting Odds
  • The league table suggests Albion should win this game and the price on them doing that is beginning to fall this morning.
  • Coral still offer 2.0(evens) on the home win and if that's the way you're plumping you will need to be quick to act.
  • Cowdenbeath are as high as 3/1 with bet365 and McBookie to win the game outright.
  • On the goals markets the unders are also shortening, now best priced with McBookie at 2.2(6/5) for under 2.5 match goals. It's a bet worth doing with the potential to lay off a chunk of the stake is things go our way in the first forty-five minutes.
  • If you fancy +2.5 goals you can get 1.7(7/10) with bet365.This Scottish League One match was suspended on Saturday afternoon due to a waterlogged pitch.
