  • It's little wonder that BBC Scotland have chosen it as their live game from the Scottish football fixtures this weekend. It looks likely to live up to it's billing with goals making regular appearances in their last six head to heads.
  • That's apart from the last time they played of course but there was a very different set up for that one. The Jam Tarts clearly approached that game with a 'don't lose' mentality and they almost managed that but for a moment of madness from Jordan McGhee.
  • He literally handed The Dons a late penalty that was converted by Adam Rooney and Hearts' push for a top two place has faltered as a result. What hasn't faltered is the amount of goals in their games. They keep on coming.
  • The three games over Christmas and New Year had a total of thirteen with all but one of their last five seeing both teams score. At Tynecastle both teams have scored in six of their last eight which goes right back to the last time the teams met here in the league.
  • Hearts have actually scored in every home game going all the way back to November in 2014. There's every chance that they will manage that again on Saturday evening. With Aberdeen on another unbeaten run, this time of eight games, it's tough to see them losing. That leads to one conclusion.
  • Both teams to score looks to have an excellent chance and a restrictive opening price of 1.67 (4/6) has lengthened enough to make this a must bet event.
  • On the Win Draw Win markets Aberdeen are slight favourites at a best priced 2.38 (11/8) with McBookie, Skybet and Coral and that's hard to argue with. Hearts are available at 3.2 (11/5) with McBookie and William Hill and the higher that price becomes the more backable it becomes.
  • But both teams to score looks to be the way to go and at 1.95 (19/20) with Coral it is worth taking. You can back +3.5 goals at 2.15 (23/20) at bet365, Coral, McBookie, William Hill and Betfair.
