  • JAM JAR is today's TOTD. Already tipped up by Templegate, Jam Jar is bred to appreciate this step up in trip. She has shown ability in her three maidens and is expected to improve plenty today on her handicapping debut. We know she is in good order which cannot be said for most of her rivals. Paul Mulrennan is riding well and Trainer Hughie Morrison has a 19% win rate with his 3 year olds this year.
  • Just Fabulous has a long absence to overcome and has not been at her best when returning from breaks in the past. A bigger danger could be Incurs Four Faults, a C+D winner who has been out of sorts recently but the drop back in trip and first time visor could revive. Mariners Moon also deserves a mention being 7lbs lower than for her sole win and has Jack Garrity on board who has a decent record when riding for Patrick holmes.
  • For me though, Jam Jar is the safest bet and I expect this shortie to be a goodie.

Lovely little write up Tracy... I was close top going for Incur Four Faults tbh but gone with Sur Empire instead.

I did think you might choose Cotai Glory because I don't think we've seen so many tip one horse before. Sure fire loser then right?!

Ta Brian. It might be wrong but we will see. I just commented on Cotai Glory too. I think it has a great chance but it has been tipped up so much already and I think that race is more competitive than the Jam Jar race. I am doubting myself now though, espesh as you have gone for Sur Empire!
