Premier League Value Bets 28th-29th November

Premier League Value Bets 28th-29th November

Premier League Value Bets 28th-29th November

It was another profitable weekend last week and November is guaranteed to be a profitable month regardless of what happens this weekend. We’d have to lose every bet to be in a negative for the season too so looking good at the moment.

This week it’s simple, back all the aways! I really do think that there are some good value prices for the aways this week and there’s the potential for some big profits.

I have Chelsea exactly how the market have them however. It’s rare I see a team justifiably short as Chelsea are for most of their matches at the moment but their Mourinho has built a very solid team and I agree that they are far superior than any other premier league team at the moment.

The only other non-away selection is Liverpool v Stoke and considering how badly Liverpool have been struggling for goals, I’m more than happy to take a huge price of 5.5 on the draw. Stoke will set up not to concede also.

Villa (3.75) and Everton (3.3) look the best value bets this weekend. Far from guaranteed especially Villa who have been in poor form but big prices for matches that could easily go either way. Both are best priced with BetVictor so make sure you bet with them on these two.

Dinamo Moscow v Panathinaikos Betting Preview

Dinamo Moscow v Panathinaikos Betting Preview

Date: November 27, 2014
Venue: Arena Khimki, Khimki, Russia
Kick-off time: 16:00 BST

The Europa League Group E fixture between Dinamo Moscow and Panathinaikos will be a big opportunity for Dinamo to make it five wins in five group matches if they defeat Panathinaikos. Both teams are at the extreme end of the table,

Moscow at the top with a 100% win record and Panathinaikos with just a solitary point.

Dinamo Moscow form: L-L-W-W-W

Dinamo Moscow’s impressive 100% win record is of importance because of the fact that they are in a group having teams like PSV Eindhoven and Panathinaikos that are not exactly pushovers. Their domestic form does cause some concern amongst their fans, falling 10 points off the leaders, Zenit St. Petersburg.

Dinamo have a great chance to officially seal their entry in the Europa League knockout stage if they win against Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos form: L-W-W-L-W

Panathinaikos team isn’t really great as the team which qualified for Champions League few seasons ago, but they are certainly capable of shocking any opponent. This campaign has been shockingly dismal, but in the last few matches, they can redeem themselves.

Against Dinamo Moscow, the task cut out for them is huge but with no pressure to qualify the Greeks can play a good game.

Key Players

Dinamo Moscow: Mathieu Valbuena

Many people raised their eyebrows when Valbuena chose to play for a Russian team instead of the elite European teams where he was in demand. He’s still getting used to the Russian setup and it won’t be much time till he hits form. A danger man anytime of the season for any team.

Panathinaikos: Danijel Pranjic

The Croatian midfielder is the mainstay in the Greek team and has been a journeyman of sorts. Being the most experienced player in the squad, his job in the team is to get the ball and recycle the possession effectively. His form does go missing sometimes but the sense of calm he brings to the team is important.

Betting Advice

Dinamo Moscow will almost certainly get the maximum points from this fixture and it is no surprise William Hill offer just 1.61 for their win. If you don’t like backing short prices though, then the draw is probably the value selection at a best price of 4.2 with BetVictor.

Sparta Prague v Napoli Betting Preview

Sparta Prague v Napoli Betting Preview

Date: November 27, 2014
Venue: Generali Arena, Prague, Czech Republic
Kick-off time: 18:00 BST

The Europa League Group I fixture between Sparta Prague and Napoli will bring some bitter memories for Prague, where they were defeated by Napoli (3-1). Much has changed since and now both the teams are tied with nine points to their name.

Napoli has slipped a few times against the lesser teams in the group and Prague will get some confidence from this fact.

Sparta Prague form: L-W-W-D-W

Sparta Prague has won every game after their opening day defeat against Napoli in the Europa League. Not only have they won the games, but also they have won them emphatically. A 3-1 win against Young Boys and 3-0, 4-0 win against Bratislava will state their attacking power.

Sparta is a good attacking side and will look to find chinks in the not so good Napoli defence.

Napoli form: W-W-W-L-W

Napoli are currently placed third in the Serie A, but is nine points off the league leaders Juventus. Their domestic form has wavered a lot and Coach Rafael Benitez will be looking to bring some stability to his side.

Napoli’s defence has not been that stable too, their last domestic game against Cagliari left some questions for Benitez. Having lost Lorenzo Insigne to injury has increased Benitez’s headaches in the attacking department too.

Sparta Prague: Borek Dockal

The Czech born midfielder has provided some beautiful assists and scored some goals this campaign. Along with Captain David Lafata, the 26 year old has been the team’s major source of goals. Entering his prime, Dockal will only get better and against Napoli, he might be the main man.

Napoli: Dries Mertens

The Belgian winger has yet to find form and settle down in Italy. His marauding runs and intelligent cutbacks are a feature of his game, but Italian league seems to have caused his confidence suffer due to the more defensive setup of teams.

After Insigne’s injury, he has a chance to step-up and shine.

Betting Advice

Sparta Prague should be full of confidence after rattling in ten goals in their last three Europa League matches and are definitely the value selection in this one.

Sparta start off at 3.0 with BetVictor while Napoli look a tad short at 2.15 to overcome their in form opponents.

Best Bet:
Sparta to win at 3.0 with BetVictor

Dynamo Kiev v Rio Ave Betting Preview

Dynamo Kiev v Rio Ave Betting Preview

Date: November 27, 2014
Venue: NSK Olimpijs’kyj, Kiev, Ukraine
Kick-off time: 18:00 BST

Dynamo Kiev will be facing Rio Ave in a very important Europa League Group J encounter that will see them get a complete hold over their destiny to reach the knockout stages of the Europa League as group winners.

Rio Ave, meanwhile, will have nothing to lose having just one point from the four group games. Rio Ave will be a sure threat for the likes of the Ukrainians.

Dynamo Kiev form: W-W-W-D-W

Dynamo Kiev is in fine form both domestically and in Europe, which sees them top in both. Currently having nine points from possibly 12, Kiev are in pole position to get to the next round without any hiccups.

With Steaua Bucuresti breathing down their neck, just two points off them, Kiev will be wary of the fact that if they lose there will be problems.

Rio Ave form: L-D-W-W-W

The Portuguese side have been abysmal in their Europa League campaign; domestically they are still in the hunt for next season’s ticket to Europa League. Thought their goals statistics match Aalborg, their issues with converting the chances have cost them a lot.

Rio Ave does not have a star-studded line-up, but there is always a chance that team that have nothing to lose always spring a surprise.

Key Players

Dynamo Kiev: Andriy Yarmolenko

The winger-turned-attacking midfielder has attracted many eyeballs with his displays for the Ukraine side. His vision and goal scoring ability has come to the fore this season making him a vital part of the side’s setup.

Rio Ave: Ahmed Hassan Koka

The young Egyptian hotshot has been Rio’s best attacker so far, contributing six goals this season. The Kiev defence needs to be aware of his movement and presence in the box to nullify him. Along with Diego Lopes, both of them have carried the Rio attacking threat.

Betting Advice

The game is being played at Dynamo’s home and the Ukrainian side start off as huge favourites for this one (1.33 at bet365). I think Kiev will win but less than 2.5 goals in the game is still a good bet at 2.4 with William Hill.

Celtic v FC Red Bull Salzburg Betting Preview

Celtic v FC Red Bull Salzburg Betting Preview

Date: November 27, 2014
Venue: Celtic Park, Glasgow, Scotland
Kick-off time: 20:05 BST

The Europa League Group D fixture between Celtic and Salzburg will surely be an exciting encounter considering both teams are vying for the top spot. Salzburg are placed first with 10 points while Celtic in second with 8 points.

Both teams are top of their respective leagues too and have a decent recent record.

Celtic form: W-W-D-W-W

Celtic is top of the league with a great run of form after struggling in the early part of the season. With no loss in the last five games (includes a draw), Celtic have won against Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness, all of them who can be considered as direct rivals.

In Europa league, they are storming ahead with just Salzburg in their way. Celtic looks confident.

FC Red Bull Salzburg form: W-W-W-L-W

The Austrians are sitting top of the league and Group D with a good buffer. Against Celtic, they have to be a bit more careful considering the Scottish team’s home form. Salzburg has a good attacking unit and having defeated Dinamo Zagreb by a huge margin (5-1), Salzburg will be feeling good about them.

Coach Adi Hutter will keep his team motivated enough to get them beyond the finish line.

Key Players

Celtic: Virgil Van Dijk

The defender has been in fine form for the Scots and is attracting interest from teams down south. His on ball skills and positional awareness are his main strength. Possessing a great recovery pace, he can match up with the fastest runners.

FC Red Bull Salzburg: Soriano

The Spanish striker is on a hot streak, 17 goals in 15 matches. He is the traditional poacher in the box, the poor man’s Spanish Falcao if someone describes him. Almost at the end of his prime, Soriano has lots to achieve in the career.

Betting Advice

FC Red Bull Salzburg (2.5 at bet365) should win this match and Celtic will have a tough time handling the Salzburg attackers. Expecting lots of goals in the match though and over 2.5 goals are at 1.6 with BetVictor.

Pricewise Hennessy and King George Preview

Veria v Kalloni Betting Preview

Veria v Kalloni Betting Preview

Date: Sunday, November 23, 2014
Venue: Stadio Verias, Verola
Kick off time: 15:15 hrs BST

Veria will be up against Kalloni at the weekend as two of the heavy-weights in the Greek top flight go to battle. The visitors are leading the home side on the table on 3rd place currently with just a point separating the two sides after 9 round of matches. Both teams are expected to be up for this clash which is sure to be a cracking game of football.

Veria’s form: W-L-W-D-D

The home team are coming into this upcoming game on the backs of a couple of drawn games. The side had drawn their games against Panionios FC and Ergotelis in successive weeks in November before the international break kicked in.

Prior to these two games, Veria had won a couple and lost a game to end the previous month. A 4-1 loss against PAOK Thessaloniki FC had come between a couple of wins against Levadiakos FC (2-1) and Ergotelis (0-2) on October 19 and 29 respectively.

Kalloni’s form: W-D-L-D-W

The visitors had won their last game against Panionios FC coming into this game. Kalloni had scored a couple of goals in the away fixture to make sure of the result heading into the break in the league.

Prior to that, Kalloni had last won a game on October 19 when a solitary goal proved to be enough for a win against PAE AO Kerkyra. Kalloni had drawn a couple of games against PAS Giannina FC and Levadiakos FC, both of which finished goalless, either side of a 2-1 loss at Asteras Tripolis FC.

Key Players

Veria: Italian center-forward Nicolau Dumitru has scored 5 times for the home side this term with 3 of his goals coming in the league. The man is primed to find the back of the net in this crucial fixture.

Kalloni: Senegal forward Henri Camara will be the man who will be carrying the expectations of this team on Sunday.

Betting Advice

The home side (1.8 at bet365) should prevail in this upcoming game for the simple reason that the visitors (5.0 at BetVictor) have not scored an awful lot of goals in the last five games. It is a disturbing trend and you do not win a football match if you do not score goals.

Thun v Young Boys Betting Preview

Thun v Young Boys Betting Preview

Date: Sunday, November 23, 2014
Venue: Stockhorn Arena, Thun
Kick off time: 15:00 hrs BST

Visitors Young Boys will be looking to leapfrog Thun into fourth place when they come visit the Stockhorn Arena at the weekend for their Swiss top flight match. The home team are currently occupying fourth spot in the tables after having recorded 23 points from 15 games this season. The visitors are in fifth position with 21 points from 14 games.

Thun’s form: D-D-L-L-D

Thun are coming into this game on the backs of some abysmal form. The side have scored just one goal in their last five games while conceding three. Three of their last five games have finished goalless while they have lost the rest of the games.

The side have lost a couple of games against FC Sankt Gallen in the cup and the league in the space of a week. Thin have drawn against Sion, Aarau, and Luzern in the other three games which finished 0-0. Their most recent match was against Luzern on November 8 and ended in a draw.

Young Boys: L-W-L-L-W

The visitors have lost three and won a couple of games in their last five fixtures. The highlight among these games had been the 2-0 win against Napoli in the Europa League on October 23. While the side have won their last game against Sion 2-1 coming into this upcoming game, Young Boys have also lost against Basel, Vaduz, and Napoli (away) in the rest of their last five games.

Betting Advice

Thun: Berat Sadik is the top scorer in Switzerland this season with 9 goals and he will be looking to terrorize defenders once again starting Sunday.

Young Boys: Former PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau has been one of the better players for the visitors this season. The 30 year old striker has had a good time in the Swiss league and he will be looking to prove his worth with more goals.

A draw (2.7 at bet365) is a most likely result although the visitors (2.8 at BetVictor) have a better chance of getting all three points from this game.

CFR Cluj v CSMS Iasi Betting Preview

CFR Cluj v CSMS Iasi Betting Preview

Date: Sunday, November 23, 2014
Venue: Dr. Constantin Radulescu stadium, Cluj
Kick off time: 16:00 hrs BST

CFR Cluj will be up against CSMS Iasi at the weekend as the Romanian Liga 1 returns to action following the international break. Cluj are in second place in the league currently with 29 points from 14 games this term. The side are trailing league leaders Steaua Bucharest by 5 points. Iasi currently find themselves hovering around the relegation zone in joint 17th spot with Polotehnica Iasi. The visitors have managed just 9 points from 14 games this season.

CFR Cluj’s form: W-D-W-L-W

CFR have lost just once in their last five competitive fixtures coming into this game. The hosts had won their game at FC SA Botosani on November 8 before the international break had kicked in. Besides their 2-1 loss at home to FC Brasov, Cluj had won against Rapid Bucharest (1-2) and Dinamo Bucharest (2-1) either side of a 1-1 draw away at CS Concordia Chiajna.

CSMS Iasi’s form

The side have been through an abysmal run of games this season. They have won only once in their last five competitive games. The win had come against Rapid Bucharest on the first matchday in November thanks to a solitary goal. However, they were quickly brought down to earth by Universitatea Craiova, who beat them 1-3 the following week on November 9.

Iasi had drawn a couple of games in the league against FC SA Botosani (2-2) and FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt (2-2) on October 17 and 25 respectively. The visitors were also beaten by league leaders Steaua Bucharest on October 28.

Key Players

CFR Cluj: Frenchman Gregory Tade has scored 9 goals for his side in the current league campaign and he will be looking to continue in the same vein of form on Sunday.

CSMS Iasi: Brazilian striker Wesley has scored the most number of goals for the visitors this season with 3 for the season. While that pales in comparison to some of the league’s best, the man is still the best hope for the visitors.

Betting Advice

The home side should win comfortably and BetVictor are offering 1.45 for their win. Bet365 offer 4.5 for a draw while Iasi are a distant 7.5 with BetVictor to surprise them.

Petrolul Ploiestis form: D-W-D-W-W

The hosts have won three and drawn two in their last five fixtures. They had started this run with a 0-0 draw at AFC Astra and followed it up with a 2-3 win at ACS Rapid CFR Suceava.

Petrolul have had a great month so far in November. After having started the month with a 0-0 draw against FC Otelul, the side went on to beat Universitatea Cluj and Otelul in successive games on November 8 and November 15 in a Cup game.

Targu Mures’ form: D-W-W-D-W

Targu have an identical record to their opponents for Sunday in terms of the results that they have obtained in their last five fixtures. The visitors have also won three and drawn a couple in their last five and hence, are unbeaten in that period.

The visitors come off a 2-0 win at home against CS Gaz Metan Medias on November 7 which had been preceded by a 0-0 draw at FC Viitorul on November 3. After having drawn at Pandurii Lignitul Targu Jiu 1-1 on October 18, Targu had won a couple of successive games against Steaua Bucharest (1-0) and FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt (4-0) to end last month on a high.

Key Players

Petrolul Ploiesti: 26 year old striker Toto Adurans has been one of the most prolific marksmen in the league with 10 goals in 12 starts. The Nigerian will be the key man for the home side in this upcoming game.

Targu Mures: Senegal midfielder Ousmane N’Doye has proved to be a key player for the fourth placed side this term. The 36 year old veteran midfielder has scored 6 goals in 10 games for the club and should be key to the visitor’s hopes this Sunday.

Betting Advice

A tight game of football is to be expected here. The home side (1.7 at bet365) hold the aces though provided that they can defend well while a draw is at 3.6 with bet365. The visitors are a distant third at 5.0 with William Hill.
